February 16, 2013 - DB Motorsports Starts the Year off Strong!

DB Motorsports opened up the “new year” at the Daytona International Speedway for WKA’s annual pilgrimage south for Kartweek. Team drivers TJ Koyen and Trent Walko were entered in the ultra competitive TaG senior class as well as the single manufacturer Iame class. Both drivers showed excellent speed all weekend and in the end, TJ Koyen brought home an excellent 2nd place result in Sundays TaG final and Trent forging ahead after some tough luck to bring home a 7th place finish. DB Motorsports team principal Brian McHattie almost swept the entire weekend with 1 pole, 2 prefinal wins, and 2 final wins. Only missing out on the second pole by .097 sec.

A terrific start to what we hope will be a great season with new partners and new 2013 Exprit Karts.
